All students who participate in 6th-12th grade athletics and 8th-12th grade band are required to have an annual physical on file before they are allowed to participate each school year. This includes practices. Physical must be filled out on the OSSAA Physical Examination and Parental Consent form. CLICK HERE to download and print the form. Fifth grade students enjoyed a fun and educational field trip presented by the Mid America STEM Alliance. Students observed the flight of drones, how they are used in engineering, and implemented in businesses such as GRDA, surveillance, ariel photography, and farming, among many others.

Students met various vendors in the fields of science, entomology, and food industry.

The A.N.T. and some STEMLAB students participated in the MidAmerica STEM Showcase on May 3rd. 5th-grade students came from around the county and surrounding areas to participate in STEM activities and experience working with robots and drones. It allows students to see the importance of STEM education in many careers and opportunities.

Way to go kiddos! The Question of the Day winners are (pictured from left to right) Finlee Headrick in Mrs. Culp's 1st-grade class, (Mrs.Perryman), Rhythm Ferder in Mrs. Green's 2nd-grade class, and Shane Bridges in Mrs. Buell's class.

A very special thank you to the mother-daughter duo, Mrs. Long and Ava McSlarrow, who stepped up to the plate when Mrs. Perryman's original guest singer, for the Question of the Day, got butterflies in his tummy at the last minute. They wowed the audience with their awesome rendition of Frozen's "Let it Go". Ava is in 8th grade and a member of Adair's school choir. She is very talented and has been awarded District Vocal Gold Medalist receiving a Superior rating in her Solo “All Through the Night” and Duo with the song “The Clouds”.

FCC Affordable Connectivity Program

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) was created by the FCC to help households struggling to pay for internet service. As part of that effort, the FCC is mobilizing people and organizations to help raise awareness about the ACP.

Eligible households can enroll in the ACP through an approved provider by visiting ACPBenefit.org.

Note: Households DO NOT have to contain Tribal members to take advantage of the $75 subsidy. A household located on land the FCC deems as 'Tribal lands' is eligible for the larger subsidy.
