Hello Panther Families! We have had a great few weeks of school at CTMS. Teachers have been implementing a lot of great activities for students. It has been great to see the students and teachers in action during the day.

Homecoming week is just around the corner! Please take a look at all of the festivities we have planned for the week. CTMS students are encouraged to come out to the homecoming dance on 10/19/2023 from 6:00-8:00. Please know that this event is for current CTMS students only- visiting students from other schools are not permitted into the dance.

The end of the 1st 9-weeks will be on Friday, October 20. Please know that this is also a staff development day (No School for Students.) Report cards will be issued on Friday, October 27. Please look for those coming home with your child.

School Picture Day will be on 10/26 and 10/27. Pictures will be taken in your student's ELA class period. Please refer to the schedule below to know when your student has pictures.

Where your favorite (school appropriate) pajamas to school.

Students, dress like your favorite teacher/staff member. Staff, dress like your students.

Be a famous dynamic duo with someone or dress like a friend to be a twin.

Dress up in your favorite CTMS attire or your purple, black, and white.

Students will get to attend and participate in the 2023 Fall Activities Pep Rally during the afternoon on Thursday, October 19. We will operate on a club day schedule.

Don't want to attend the Pep Rally? Pep Rally's aren't really your thing? Don't worry, you'll be able to sign up for a study hall during the pep rally time.

CTMS students are encouraged to come back to school from 6:00-8:00 on 10/19/2023. Admission is $5.00 and is for current CTMS students only. Concessions will be for sale for students in the cafeteria.

Students may choose to dress up, however, it is not required. Please be mindful of the school dress code.

Please be mindful of the traffic when arriving and leaving an evening event. The dance will end promptly at 8:00PM and students will not be dismissed early from the dance unless picked up at the door by a parent/guardian and released by a school administrator.

There is one way in and one way out. We do ask that you keep traffic moving and do not block the road. When exiting High Street from CTMS, please make a right hand turn onto Jefferson Avenue to keep traffic flowing. Leaving the dance can be hectic, however, please listen to those that are directing traffic close to the school as they are best prepared to help keep the line moving.

Friday, October 20 is a staff development day, please do not send your student to school. This is a day off for them. 😀 This is also the end of the 1st 9-weeks. Please look for your student's report card on 10/27/2023.

Due to a county instructional walk-through and our scheduled school pictures, this month's club day has been moved to Wednesday, November 1.
