Scripture For Grief, Recovery, & Joy for March 25

Today’s Scripture
Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the Lord.
Psalm 32:10 ESV
Today's Guide
When preparing for today, think about the following: God is Trustable.
Food For Thought
The sorrows of the wicked may seem insurmountable, but there is hope in grief. Today’s scripture reminds us that God's love surrounds those who trust in Him and that He will never leave them. In times of pain and suffering, we can take comfort in the knowledge that God sees our sorrow and is with us in it. He understands our burdens, weeps with us, and carries us through every difficult moment. His steadfast love does not waver; instead it grows stronger as we cling to Him.
God often uses grief to draw us closer to Him and help us learn lessons about life, faith, and His will for us. We do not need to face this pain alone; He provides us the courage and strength to endure whatever comes our way. With every trial, His grace brings peace and a reminder of His promises that nothing can separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39). Ultimately, even grief serves a purpose as it draws us closer to God and reminds us of the hope we have in Him no matter what happens here on Earth (Romans 5:3-5).
God’s Word offers immense comfort amidst suffering, reminding us that no matter how great our pain may be, His love for us holds greater still. We can find comfort knowing He is with us every step of the way on our journey towards peace – which is only found by trusting in His unfailing love (Isaiah 26:3). Today, we are reminded that no matter how dark or hopeless things may seem – hope remains forever with those who place their trust in the Lord.
Gratitude
Gratitude is an emotion that often follows the recognition of God's faithfulness. A sense of gratitude grows as we walk in obedience to Him and recognize the blessings He pours out over us each day. Gratitude can be expressed through worship, prayer, and acts of service. We can also share our thankfulness with those around us by engaging in meaningful conversations about how God has blessed our lives.
Who can you share your gratitude or thankfulness for God’s faithfulness amidst the storm today?
Today's Prayer
Lord, Although I have seen sorrow and pain in this world, I have never walked through those places alone. You have always been with me. There have been times You have carried me when I could not walk. I cannot imagine what it is for those who despise You and walk in their way. I pray for those without any idea of their missing freedom, love, joy, grace, and mercy. Amen
