An Update From The Bear Den
Next week continues to be a hectic week as we prepare for Parent Teacher Conferences as well as the boys' state basketball tournament. Please be reminded that we have no school Monday due to the basketball game in Des Moines which takes place at 10:30 a.m. In addition, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are all scheduled early out days due to both PT Conferences and our regular professional development. Friday will be another no school day, as we have our teacher comp day for conference week. It will be a hectic, short week for sure!

Parent Teacher Conferences
Spring Parent Teacher Conferences are next week! If you have not set up your conference time with your child's teacher, please do so this week. We hope to have an opportunity to check in with all of our Danville families to discuss each child's progress.
Find some great questions to ask your child's teacher below!
* What do you see as my child’s strengths?
* What do you think are the academic challenges for my child?
* Is my child on grade level for reading? What about math, science, social studies and writing?
* How does the school handle standardized testing and prep for those tests?
* Does my child return homework on time?
* What can I do at home to support what you’re doing in the classroom?
* Are there any supplies my child needs?
