Happy September! I cannot believe it has been a month since we welcomed our students back from summer break!
We have completed our first round of MAP testing for all students. Thank you to our families who have honored our testing dates by having students here and on time. We realize testing this early in the year can be challenging, and we are proud of our students for their focus and perseverance during this process.
We also are very proud of our students and staff in understanding the importance of safety. We just conducted our first intruder drill of the 2022-23 academic year. While it is unfortunate we must think of these situations, please know that the safety of our students and staff is, and will always remain, a top priority at Clemson Elementary.
We have received several much-needed and appreciated back to school donations. Thank you to Clemson University's sororities and fraternities for hosting a school supply drive which yielded 14 full book bags for students in need.
