Roary's Weekly Update

August 21 - Welcome to Week 2 of school at LeBlanc Elementary!!!

August 22 - $1 T-shirt Tuesday (Choice of school appropriate t-shirt with uniform bottoms.)

August 23 - Test papers go home today

August 24 - Please be reminded that the 2nd round of Spirit Shirt sales ends on August 31st

August 25 - $1 Jean or Athletic Shorts/Pants with LES Spirit Shirt (Shorts must be appropriate

length as state in VPSB handbook; no jeans with holes or frayed)

Ordering online is still available till August 31st. All orders, whether turned in on paper or online, MUST be in by August 31 in order to receive this year's Spirit Shirt.

For $1, students may wear a t-shirt of their choice (school appropriate) with their uniform bottoms. Emblems and/or insignias which promote profanity, obscenity, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, gang, wrestling related symbols, or hate type slogans, etc. are prohibited. Shirts may not be see-through, tight fitting, or that which exposed the mid-section are prohibited. All shirts must have sleeves. Any student not in compliance, parents will be called to bring a change of clothes.

$1.00 Jean & Athletic Shorts/Pants Day (Any Leblanc ELEMENTARY Spirit Shirt may be worn.)

Denim jeans, capris, shorts are allowed. Athletic shorts or pants are allowed, but MUST be the appropriate length or parents will be called to school to bring other clothes. Jeans may not be frayed or have holes in them.

VPSB guidelines for length must be followed. Any student not in compliance, parents will be called to bring a change of clothes.

Tuesday, August 29, 2023 will be our Open House.

All parents will report to the gym first and then will be directed to the classrooms.

We will have two sessions.

1st - 3rd Grade will be held from 5:30 pm - 6:15 pm

4th - 5th Grade will be held from 6:15pm - 7:00pm
