This Week's Standards

Math
In math this week, we will be focusing on standard 4.OA.4 which deals with factors and multiples. By the end of the week, students will be expected to...
  1. ...find all factor pairs for a whole number in the range 1-100.
  2. ...recognize that a whole number is a multiple of each of its factors.
  3. ...determine whether a whole number between 1 and 100 is a multiple of a given one-digit number.
  4. ...determine whether a whole number between 1 and 100 is prime or composite.


ELA

For language arts this week, students will be presenting their famous Nevadan reports. This meets CCSS SL.4.4 and SL.4.5.

Work Samples

Math: 4.OA.4 Quiz This quiz will be open Thursday at 2 pm.
ELA: Digital presentation and final draft of research report.

Event Information

National Geographic Exhibit

National Geographic's 50 Greatest Photographs of all time. This is exhibit is moving and awe-inspiring. The cost is $9.00 per student and $11.00 per adult. Please bring exact amount for payment. The exhibit is not recommended for younger students or siblings. The entrance to the exhibit is near the hotel registration. RSVP via the Community Board.
