Thank you very much to Northeast parent and PTO Board Member, Jeremy Davidson, for building us a Northeast Free Little Library! It is absolutely beautiful and is located next to the Gym entrance and the Kiss and Ride line. Feel free to come by and choose a book, leave a book or just take a look at our new addition. We are very excited to be able to share books! Once we have it filled with books we will share a picture.

Have you had your COVID booster yet?? New COVID boosters target both the original strain of the virus that causes COVID, as well as the Omicron BA.4 and BA.5 subvariants. Scientists expect they will provide broad protection against newer variants as well. WPS is partnering with OSCO Pharmacy to offer 2 COVID Vaccine clinics on November 14th.

A PEDIATRIC CLINIC for 5-11 year olds, will be held at Whittemore from 2-5 pm on November 14. Please sign up here

STAFF AND STUDENTS 12 and older can get their vaccine at Waltham High School from 7-4 on November 14. Please sign up here!

Additionally, Flu shots will be available at both of these clinics.

Wednesday is School Spirit Day! Show your Northeast Pride by wearing your Northeast t-shirt or other gear. You can also wear blue and yellow!

The Waltham Public Schools have made some changes to elementary school schedules to allow for equitable specialist time for all students. Please see the letter, including a schedule, from Mr. Douglas Trudeau, Director of Fine and Performing Arts, which explains the schedule changes and the days they will occur. We will send reminders when the changes are happening so that students will be prepared with sneakers on Physical Education days, instruments on Music Days and Library books on Library days.

Northeast Free Little Library is up! Northeast now has a Free Little Library (near the gym entrance) -- one of our parents and PTO Board Members, Jeremy Davidson, built a beautiful library and it is now installed. Please feel free to take a book, leave a book, or just check it out!

If you have any books you'd like to donate, you can also drop them to Daniella Ricci (Circle Drive) -- Daniella has offered to collect book donations, as well as make sure it remains stocked.
