I highly recommend attending the sessions before beginning your student’s application as applications are NOT first-come, first-served. In addition, I will be providing more in-depth information about the application process and high school registration later this month. A presentation with all this information will be posted in my Counselor google classroom, so please let me know if you or your student do not have access to this google classroom! Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, or if I can assist you and your student in this process.

The nurses are excited to report that November is National Diabetes Awareness month. We will be encouraging all staff and students to wear blue on November 1st to show their support on Type 1 Diabetes day. Please encourage your students to wear their blue uniforms on 11/1. We also will be doing activities throughout the month to spread diabetes awareness.
Also, Nurse Brothers will be partnering with Mrs. Breslin, the Middle School counselor, to teach the 8th graders about drug and alcohol prevention for red ribbon week.
Lastly, the nurses will also be continuing mass vision screenings for all 4th and 6th grade students this month. Spirit Wear vs. Dress Down Attire
Spirit Wear Days: Are celebrated the FIRST Friday of every school month. On this Friday students are encouraged to wear PSPA t-shirts, sweatshirts, or hoodies that they have purchased through our PSPA PTO. On the bottom students can wear school appropriate (the definition of what PSPA considers appropriate is not too tight and not too short) shorts, skirts or pants of their choice (however, PJ bottoms are not acceptable). They do not need to be school uniform shorts. They can be jeans or athletic shorts, for example.
Dress Down Days: Are recognized on the THIRD Friday of every school month. Students are allowed to dress down into school appropriate clothing of their choice. This does NOT include articles of clothing such as PJs, short skirts, tight pants, spaghetti straps, open-toed shoes, or bare midriff shirts.
School Uniforms: Can be purchased through our exclusive vendor Land's End. Just a reminder bottoms can be purchased anywhere. Articles of clothing that have a logo must be purchased through Land's End. In addition, certain items like jumpers for young girls have only been approved for the younger grades like K-2nd. We are unable at this time to add additional items to our Land's End approved list.
Land’s End School Code for PSPA: 900185760
PSA: Label your children's outwear NOW!
If your child is missing any items please tell them to check lost and found! Both schools already have a lot of unclaimed items.
