Donuts with Grownups Update:
What a great time we had on 03/16 (grades K-2) and 03/23 (grades 3-5)! It was wonderful to see our students and their Grownups participate in this event again!
Due to the overwhelming turnout on 03/23, we regrettably ran out of donuts before the event ended.
We apologize and would like to connect with you if the donut supply ran out and you and your child did not receive a donut.
Please reach out to Ashley Mitch at amitch1029@hotmail.com by Tuesday 03/28.
For future events: Please remember to register so the PTA can plan accordingly to have enough supplies. Donuts were ordered based on our registrations. While we ordered more donuts above the registration number, we did not anticipate the larger attendance, which led to the unfortunate outcome of not having enough donuts for all.
We also understand that most of you probably had to take some time off from work to come to this event with your child and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused you.
We Need Your Help!

Parking Lot
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I wanted to take some time to reiterate student safety procedures during arrival and dismissal times. As always, student safety is our number one priority. Please review the procedures below, and follow them to ensure our students’ safety at all times.
Please remember:
When dropping off or picking up students by automobile: You may park your car and walk your child across the bus lane; or you may drive up to the student drop-off area, have your child exit the car and walk on the sidewalk next to the building. If you are getting out of your car to assist your child, please park your car in the lot and do not park in the drop-off lane. Do not stop and park in the drop-off lane.
- Students and parents must use the crosswalk at all times.
- Bus lanes must be kept open at all times.
- Park in the designated parking spaces only and not along the curb.
- Walk and get your child(ren) (when picking them up early or at dismissal time).
- Do not leave you child(ren) unattended outside the school.
Thank you in advance for your assistance and cooperation.

COVID Reporting Tool For Parents
Parents need to complete the COVID google form. Parents can access the COVID google form on our BASD website and then click "The COVID REPORTING TOOL FOR PARENTS"
Once this COVID google form has been completed the district receives a notification. The district will treat that notification as a non-cummulative absence until the 5 day mandatory period is over or if not symptom free at that point, any additional days until they are symptom free and without a fever for 24 hours.
If the student case is not recorded through the Google Form, they are accountable to the procedures outlined in attendance policy #204.
Arrival/Dismissal Procedures
- Cars are not allowed in the bus lane.
- You may park along Kenwood Drive or in designated parking spaces to walk your children to the door.
- Students and parents must use the crosswalks at all times.
- Do not leave your child(ren) unattended outside the school, before or after school hours.
- Follow posted signs. They will be enforced.
