Euharlee's Texas Roadhouse Spirit Night is on Tuesday, September 5th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Present the flyer from our Facebook page and they will donate 10% of your food purchase to the school. Thanks for your support!

Are you interested in having an impact on the life of a child? We would love to have you join Read to Grow. Volunteers in the program work with first grade students on early reading skills. The program runs each day from 10:20-11:20. Each volunteer works a one-hour shift each week. We have room for ten more volunteers, so contact Amy Pullen, the program coordinator, at amy.pullen@bartow.k12.ga.us, if you would like to learn more.

Fall individual pictures will be taken by Tonsmeire Studio the morning of September 12th. An order form will be coming home soon.

The first early release day of the year will happen on Wednesday, September 20th. Students will dismiss beginning at 11:30.

Join us in sharing a love reading at our Scholastic Book Fair. Euharlee Elementary's Book Fair will be held on September 25-29 and we're looking forward to seeing you there. The Book Fair will be open from 8:00-2:00 on Monday-Thursday. On Friday, we will be open from 8:00-12:00. Thank you for encouraging your child to read.

Literacy Night will take place on Thursday, September 28th from 5:30-6:45. After a short presentation on how you can help your child develop his or her literacy skills, we will spend the rest of the evening playing Bingo for Books. We hope you can join us for this fun and informative event.

The PTO will be meeting on Monday, September 11th from 5:00-6:00 in the Euharlee Elementary media center. Among the topics discussed will be the initial planning of Fall Festival.

The Euharlee PTO chocolate fundraiser money is due on September 13th. There are still boxes of chocolate available for sale. Chocolate permission slips are available in the front office.

A PTO Hat Day is scheduled for Friday, September 22nd. For a $1 donation, your child can wear his or her favorite appropriate hat.

There is still time to complete a Free and Reduced-Price School Meal application. You can complete the application online by clicking here.

Is your child a picky eater? The cafeteria is now offering peanut butter and jelly packs on the regular menu each day.

Fall Break will be here before you know it. Remember to mark your calendars for October 2-6 as we will be closed that week.
