Summer Update
To our Crosswell Families
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer break.
I am excited about the 2022-2023 school year. Crosswell Elementary will have a fresh new look when we return. All areas are in the process of being painted, all new lighting throughout the building, and most ceiling tiles have been replaced.
Teachers will return to campus on July 26th and we will have Meet the Teacher on July 28th. Our teachers will begin scheduling appointments for Meet the Teacher when they return or sooner if possible. I look forward to seeing our students and families on July 28th.
Please see important information below and call the front office at (864) 397-1600 if you have any questions or concerns.

Registration Gateway
New Students - PreK, Kindergarten, and other new student registration is open for August 2022! Parents can begin the registration process online by entering their information into the New Student Gateway. Before registering, we encourage parents to check what school they are zoned for by using our School Locator. If you have questions about registration, please call your future school directly. Phone numbers for all of our schools are listed in the School Directory.
Returning and Pre-Registered Students - All students in the School District of Pickens County must complete a required online student information update on the Back-to-School Gateway site during the annual update window which opened July 6 and will be open through late August. An email with login information was sent to parents on July 6, 2022. Reminder emails will be shared weekly until school begins.
Free and Reduced Lunch Applications
Free and Reduced LUNCH Applications for 2022-2023
Over the past two years, SDPC has been able to provide free meals to our students due to the USDA waivers associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. This federally funded free school meal program is no longer available beginning the 2022-2023 school year.
If your student qualifies for free or reduced meals, they can still receive them next year, but you MUST TAKE ACTION to make it happen.
