Dear IG Families:

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families! There has been a lot of talk about being thankful at Ivan Green. Overwhelmingly, our students say they are thankful for their families and their teachers. That is so sweet!

This is a special call to our community to anyone who might be interested at working at Ivan Green as a teacher aide. We are in need of a teacher aide to work in one of our special education classrooms. If you (or someone you know) is interested in making a difference while working on the school calendar, please contact me to learn about the job and the application process. Please help us spread the word!

Please remember that Monday is a half day. We will dismiss our pick-ups at 12:20 and our buses should leave at 12:30.

December 23 - Report Cards sent home

We are bringing back a pre-COVID treat! Ivan Green students can purchase additional snacks at lunch on the last Friday of the month. This will be available on December 2 (instead of November) and December 23.

Students can purchase the following snacks:

Chips for $1.00

Ice Cream for $0.65

Cookies for $0.75

Here are some general guidelines to follow for keeping your child home:

• Students cannot return to school until they are 24 fever free without the use of fever reducing medication.
• Students must be clear from vomiting and diarrhea for 24 hours before returning to school.
• Students with respiratory systems are less likely to be contagious if their symptoms are generally improving before they come back to school.
