It is hard to believe that today is the last day of school. I hope that you enjoy a wonderful and safe summer. Thank you for your partnership these past few months. We have never experienced anything like this and could not have done it without you. Seeing so many faces the other day reminded me just how much I love Mill Valley. Mill Valley is not the same without everyone in it. Continue to watch for updates as we process through what next year will look like. Updates will be highlighted in blue throughout the upcoming weeks. Along with the Parent FAQ document, our student services staff have created a presentation to provide resources on how to help your children cope with mental health. You will find fact sheets as well as age specific information in the presentation.

Hello! My name is Teresa Anderson and I am super excited to join the kindergarten team at Mill Valley! Although I am new to Mill Valley, I have ten years of teaching experience in Milwaukee. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Ryan, just a few months shy of ten years! We have a son, Brayden (8 years old) and a daughter, Hannah (7 years old). We also have two dogs, Bella (a puggle) and Brody (a golden retriever/lab mix). In my free-time, I love spending time with my family up north at our family’s cabin in Iola, reading, spending time outdoors, cheering my son on at his soccer games and watching my daughter dance! One thing that I love the most about teaching is being able to instill a love and passion for learning in my students. I am truly looking forward to this new journey and to begin building relationships with the students, families and staff at Mill Valley!

Hello Mill Valley. My name is Tom Albertin and I've been working within the Muskego Schools since 2001 and this fall marks my 30th year working in a school setting. My first 7 years at MNSD was as a "guest teacher" at Bay Lane Middle School, after spending 10 years teaching for the Milwaukee Public Schools. My career switch to custodial work started in 2008 and have since worked at Lake Denoon, Bay Lane, and most recently Muskego High School. I enjoy contributing to each child's growth, may it be by cleaning learning areas, or helping a family retrieve forgotten homework. My hobbies include attending concerts, useless pop trivia, and movie poster memorabilia.

Summer library checkout at Bay Lane Elementary will begin Monday, July 6 and run through Thursday, July 30 (No Friday classes). Books will be available for pick up 8:00 am-12:30 pm during summer SLA classes. Here are written instructions how to put books on hold.

If your child is enrolled in Summer Learning Academy, you may keep the device for use through that time frame. If you would like to continue other online learning opportunities through July and would like to keep the device for that, you may do so.

We will continue to have tech support available at the Muskego High School Main Entrance on Wednesdays (during the summer).

• Chromebook Quick Troubleshooting Guide - Please see the attached flyer to help your student resolve problems at home.

Students will still be held to the same level of expectations for use and adherence to the student acceptable use policy, as they are during the school year.

Please make sure the device is returned by Wednesday, August 5th, 2020 so that we can properly clean, update, and prep the device for the 2020-21 school year.
