Principal's Corner
Dear Parents and Community Members,
Happy Friday! BBRRRR– what a cold week! I hope everyone stayed warm in these crazy temperatures. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for the warmer weather to be here. I hate being cold!
Second semester is moving right along and students are learning some amazing things in class! I visited every classroom this week and loved seeing all of the things your students are learning. Our teachers are doing an excellent job at engaging students and coming up with creative lessons and assignments. When I talked to students about what they are working on in class there were several who were excited to show me projects they are in the middle of working on. I love seeing students get excited about learning!
If you have a student in grades K-6 please make sure to send them with a coat as students will go outside for recess if the weather is above 35 degrees. If you need help obtaining a coat for your student please contact the school as we have resources available to help with this.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out. My door is always open and I am always willing to help however I can. Stay safe and warm out there!
Sincerely,
Kyla Kirtley
Principal
