Nitrauer Weekly Update
Week ending October 8
From Dr. Hancock
It was a short but busy week at Nitrauer. Our kindergarten friends had a field trip to Cherry Hill Orchards; thank you to all of the parents able to help with this trip!
For consistency K-12, our attendance procedures have been updated. Going forward, the following types of excuse notes will be accepted:
Paper Option: Handwritten, signed excuse notes sent into school with your child
Electronic Option: Pictures of handwritten, signed excuse notes sent as an attachment in an email by a parent/guardian to Miss G (grafenal@mtwp.net)
All absences are required to be treated as unlawful until the district receives a written excuse explaining the absence. For any absence to be excused, an excuse note must be signed by a parent/guardian and must be submitted to the school office within three (3) days following the absence. Standard excuse cards are available for parent/guardian convenience or notes can be provided on separate paper. Please provide the child's name, grade, date of absence(s), reason for absence, and parent/guardian signature. Email excuse information without a signature is not an acceptable format. However, a signed excuse note may be emailed as a PDF or JPEG (photo) attachment containing a parent signature. Parents may also fax a signed excuse with the above information to the school's office.
This month's PTO meeting will be Wed, Oct 20. We changed the date so as not to interfere with the new Middle School's ribbon cutting, which involves many of our Nitrauer parents.
The Health room is in desperate need of boys pants & shorts sizes 8/10, 7/8 & 5/6
also any small size gently used shoes/sneakers; smaller sizes. 12, 13, 1, & 1.5.
Also boys underwear size small 5/6!
Important Upcoming Dates:
Monday, October 11: No School/Offices Open
Wednesday, October 20: Oct PTO Meeting
Save the Date - October 27th 5-7 Nitrauer's Fall Fest
Have a great weekend,
