Veterans Day is a time for us to pay our respects to those who have served in the US Military. We celebrate and honor Veterans for their patriotism, love of country and willingness to serve and sacrifice for our country. We proudly display our Wall of Honor in the front hallway of Mill Valley. Students and staff have sent in photos of their grandparents, moms, dads, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins and any other family members or friends that have served our country.

We invite all staff and students to wear Red, White and Blue tomorrow, on our day of observance.

As December gets closer, I just wanted to share with families that during my maternity leave, Mrs. Schrot will graciously be working at Mill Valley as much as possible to support. It will be wonderful to have her back and I am sure the kids will really enjoy seeing her too!

Beginning next week, we will no longer have the chain up at the entrance to the bus and parent pick up lots. We ask that you please follow our dismissal plan of not entering the lot until the bell rings at 3:45. THANK YOU!

Mill Valley PTO's Holiday Shop will include the store (located in the Wolf Den) plus pictures with Santa Claus, family friendly crafts, hot cocoa and cookies. Holiday helpers will guide your student through the Holiday Shop to pick out and purchase gifts for family members with their pre-determined budget. Afterwards, they will visit the wrapping table where more Holiday Helpers will help them wrap/bag and label their gifts.

Sing! Dance! Act! In this after school class, students will learn the basics of acting, singing and musical theater dance while having a lot of fun! Our next 8-week session at Mill Valley runs Wednesdays, 3:50-4:50 pm, November 29th - January 24th (no class 12/27). Students will explore new stage skills, theatre games and showcase material, so new and returning students are welcome!
