We hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! Our PTA will start sending home information soon about our annual fundraiser, The Cub Run! This one event provides most of the funding for our PTA throughout the year. Be on the lookout for Cub Run information!

Thank you to our wonderful PK & K families that stocked our staff lounge with drinks & snacks! We appreciate it!!

Repeated Information:

Car Signs: Please continue to display your car sign. If you come to pick up your student without your car sign, you may be asked to park, come inside, and show a valid ID before leaving with your child. Safety is everyone's responsibility--thank you for your support! If you ever need a new or additional car sign please contact your child's teacher.

Lunch Visitors

Lunch Visitors:

If you would like to eat lunch with your child, please sign up using the form linked below. We have a limited number of visitor tables set up for each lunch period. Visitors must sit at a designated table with their student only. They may not bring other friends to the visitor table.
Keeping with our tradition, we will not open the cafeteria to visitors until after September 5th. This allows our students to learn the cafeteria expectations and procedures, as well as make friends at lunch during the first few weeks of school.
You must bring a valid ID when you come to check in for lunch visits.

Absence Notes

Parents,we cannot excuse an absence without a reason. According to district policy, there are only a few things that we can excuse with a parent note. If you would like to review that policy you can find it at the link below. The documentation details are near the bottom of the page. (Please note, that our campus does require an email or handwritten note.)

Car Line Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

Morning arrival and afternoon dismissal are continuing to get better each day. Thank you for working hard to get your student to BCE on time for class and pick them up on time at the end of the day. Please note:

For the safety of everyone, stay in your car if you are in the car line. If your student needs assistance getting out of the car or in the car, you are welcome to park and walk them to the crosswalk in the mornings or walk up and pick them up in the afternoons.
Also, for safety, please ensure that your student can get out on the car or in the car on the passenger side of the vehicle. The driver side can put them into oncoming traffic.

Canvas Parent Observer

Canvas is our Learning Management System (LMS) for 4th - 12th grade classrooms. Canvas allows parents to sign up as a parent observer to see a more in-depth look at assignments and upcoming lessons. Canvas has a parent app that you can download from the Google play or the Apple App Store.

Seesaw for Families

Seesaw is our Learning Management System (LMS) for K - 3rd grade classrooms. Seesaw allows teachers to provide their students with Texas standards-aligned activities. Parents can see and interact with their child's projects at assignments. K-3 parents will receive an invitation to connect to your child's Seesaw journal.

Our Online Fair is already open! Perfect for those who can’t attend in person can still shop at the book fair. This is also where family members can purchase digital gift cards for students.
