Area
7th - Nursery Landscape (we had a scantron error or we would have qualified for state)!
We trained a lot of young teams and they gained a lot of hands-on experience and their advisors learned some too!
Our vet science kids learned how to stitch an animal and studied every organ, parasite, disease, and breed of every animal.
Landscape and floral had to know how to identify 250 plants and bugs and a lot of geometry and math.
Our poultry team had to learn all the parts of a chicken and be able to identify each part - they also got to cut up their own chicken.
Our dairy cattle team got to experience a carousel dairy for training and it was quite the learning experience since the dairy industry has lost so much.
The farm business management team probably has the hardest task of all with accounting that they only teach in college!
We thank you for all your support during CDE season and beyond!
