RHHS Wildcats: News You Can Use

We have enjoyed a wonderful return to school! I hope you and your family have experienced the same.

Below, I have again included the school's essential information. Also, you will find information that will help you identify your child's counselor. Please take time to read through all of this.

Finally, we sent several forms home with your child that must be completed and returned. This is not optional for us, so your cooperation would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for sharing your children with us!

Please help us make student check-outs efficient and effective for you by sending a note with your child if there is a day that he/she will need to check-out for an appointment or leave early.

When you send a note with your child, he/she should bring it to the attendance office at the beginning of the school day. We will call you to verify the note. Once verified, we prepare a pass for your child so he/she can leave his/her class at the appropriate time. The student then reports to the attendance office, signs out, and he/she is cleared to leave campus.

This should allow parents/guardians to avoid standing in a line at the front office and waiting for the child to make his/her way to the front office.

Clinic information-

Nurses: Taryn Parker and Denell Foster

Clinic staff will be available to receive student medications Monday, July 29th, during school hours. If you should need to discuss health information at length, please call to schedule a meeting. All clinic forms are available on the high school website. Inhalers and epi pens that are carried by the student must have forms completed by their physician.

Our attendance system allows us to use barcodes as well as manual entry of student IDs. Students are encouraged to download the SWIPE app for their phone. Doing so will allow them to access a barcode associated with their student ID number that they can use when checking in/out of the attendance office. The use of the barcode is much faster, which will mean less time in the attendance office. Please open the file below for more information.

Qualifications to Purchase a Parking Permit during theRegular time periods:

• Not on Obligations List

• Passing or passed at least 75% of classes

*Students with more than 6 absences and/or tardies (for second semester, 18-19) will be able to purchase a parking permit with a signed attendance contract. The attendance contracts will be made available to those students who must have this in order to purchase a parking permit.

*Students who do not meet the Academic expectations will be able to purchase parking permits beginning the second nine weeks. All of the above qualifications must continue to be met in order to apply at the second nine weeks and purchase a parking permit for $65.00.

Each senior is fully responsible for making his/her appointment for his/her senior pictures. There are still appointments available. If you are a rising senior and have not yet made your appointment, please do this today!
