Starting on Monday, April 5th students in kindergarten, grade one and grade two will begin to bring home a book bag. The purpose of the bag is to provide students with a book at their reading level they can read at home. Each day a book will be placed in your child’s book bag. We ask you take a few minutes to listen to your child read the book. After completing the book, please log the title on the sheet in the folder. Also, if possible please indicate if you thought the book was too easy, too hard or just right for your child to read. Please remember part of the goal of the book bag is to make it easier for the student to read each night. If you have a busy night and are unable to read the book, just hold on to the folder for additional evening. Also, if your child has a book they prefer to read that is ok too.
