Bell High School
Principals Update Week 29
From The Desk of Rafael L. Balderas, Principal
Greetings Bell HS Family,
I hope this message finds you and your family in great health and sound in mind.
The mid-year progress of the second semester is upon us, and it is now time to meet with our parents and students and provide support on how to complete the remainder of the school year with success. To that end, next week we will start our Spring Parent Conferences from Monday, March 22nd to Thursday, March 25th afters school from 4 to 6 pm to meet with parents on their sons and/or daughters academic progress. As A REMINDER Parent-Teacher conferences help our families build a strong communication with their children’s teacher. During these conferences, parents and guardians will review student goals, discuss academic progress and plan for success. As a parent we value your input and believe it is important that we work as a team to support your child’s learning. Hoping to see everyone virtually next week for Parent-Teacher conferences. We Can Do This!
Secondly, A Return to Campus Family Guide is now available, with detailed information to help you decide whether your child will return to school for the remainder of the semester or continue with online instruction. Please download the English guide here: https://reopening.lausd.net/familyguide
and the Spanish guide here: https://achieve.lausd.net/cms/lib/CA01000043/Centricity/Domain/4/family%20guide_spanish.pdf you may download on any mobile or digital device, and read it carefully.
In conclusion, I will continue to reiterate, If we are to return to any model of face to face learning, EVERYONE must do their part by wearing a mask, practice social distancing, wash your hands, Covid test and remain home. We Got This!
In Partnership,
Rafael L. Balderas, Principal
