The Board Line
Thank You All for participating in the annual Congregational Meeting last Sunday. This community is amazing in its flexibility and willingness to use new skills! We had more than double the needed attendance for a quorum and conducted complex business smoothly.
Special appreciation goes out to the tech team who kept us lined up and moving through the agenda. I also want to particularly recognize all the hard work that Barry Zickuhr did making this event accessible and manageable for all of us. Read more....Music and Meditation

From Rev. Mary - Giving and Receiving
I am really not good at asking for help. Like many of you (and I know who some of you are...) I am much better at helping than I am being helped. And, sometimes I need help. Last week I needed lots of help to have a rest from Zoom and church work for a few days. And, everyone I asked said yes. Rev. Carol said yes when I asked her to lead worship on Sunday. Kari and Troy said yes when I asked them to lead vespers on Thursday—and Rev. Carol joined in, too. Fritz Wrede, Board chair, and Darlene, our administrator, said yes when I asked them to be my go-to people if someone needed a contact while I was not checking email as often as usual. Everyone said yes. Read more....

Help Keep OUUC Grounds Beautiful!
Maintaining our building and grounds is a demonstration of faith that life will someday return to normalish. Church members have volunteered to care for different plots around the grounds. However, some have had to step away and we’re looking for new volunteers. We talked with Rev. Mary about weeding in these days of quarantine and she said she'd be ok with it if we take precautions.
* People may stop by to weed if it is part of their trip out to get essential things, but she'd prefer folks not go out just for this.* This is not an expectation or requirement for adopt-a-plot participants.
* Anyone at high risk or who is concerned should stay home.
* If there are more than 10 people working, please go another time.
* Make sure to wear a mask when near others and keep good social distance. Read more....
