The Varsity Women's Volleyball team hosted two home games this week sweeping both in three sets.

On Tuesday, 9/12, the Falcons defeated College Prep & Leadership Academy of Jamestown by scores of 25-20, 25-15 and 25-9 to round out the evening.

On Thursday, 9/14, the girls dominated the Phoenix from the beginning to end finishing with scores of 25-6, 25-4, and 25-9.

On Friday, 9/15, the Varsity Volleyball team travelled to Chatham Charter winning a tough match against the Knights 3-2.

This brings the Falcons overall record to 12-1 and 9-1 in Conference play.

The JV Girls Volleyball team lost a tough match at Eastern Guilford High School Thursday night. The Falcons started off strong, winning the first set 25-13 but fell short in the final two sets, 20-25 and 10-15.

The JV Girls travelled to Chatham Charter School on Friday night in Siler City. The girls fell short, losing two hard fought sets 25-17 and 25-20.

These two losses bring their season record to 1-7 overall.

The Varsity Men's Soccer team got back to their winning ways this week on the road at Piedmont Classical in Browns Summit and Millennium Charter of Mount Airy.

The boy's opened the week on Tuesday, 9/12 with at clean sheet, 3-0 win on the road at Piedmont Classical. On Thursday 9/14, the boys went on the road dominating the pitch, winning 9-0 over Millennium Charter.

In Friday night's contest, the Falcons took on Woods Charter, defeating the Wolves 3-2.

The three wins this week brings their overall record to 8-2 and 2-1 in Conference.

The Middle School Boys Soccer team continued their unbeaten streak this week adding two more wins- both with a clean sheet on defense.

On Tuesday, September 12, the Falcons had a big win, dominating Chatham Charter up and down the field, by a score of 8-0.

They followed up the high scoring match-up with a tough fought game against Bethany Community School on Thursday, September 14, netting 3 and allowing none for a score of 3-0.

Their current record is 5-0 overall.

The Middle School Girls Volleyball team had a big win against Chatham Charter, sweeping both sets on Tuesday, Sept. 12.

On Thursday, September 14, the girls turned around and did the same, defeating Bethany Community School 2-0 in the best of 3 match.

The Middle School Cross Country team went on the road to compete at Chatham Charter School on Wednesday, September 13. Both the Girls and Boys teams placed first out of the six teams competing. Isaiah Setzer finished 1st and Bennett Martin finished in 2nd for the boys. Melanie Pineda, Alie Elmore and Molly Hathaway from NCLA all finished Top 5 for the girls.

The NCLA Booster Club acts as a support wing of The North Carolina Leadership Academy to actively sponsor fundraising activities for financial support of all interscholastic and intramural athletic programs and to improve the athletic facilities for the athletic programs, which are supported by the Administration of The North Carolina Leadership Academy.
