In our efforts to raise funds for the new basketball uniforms purchased this season, we’re reaching out for your support. With this contactless fundraiser, you can help us keep 50% of the profit, and the products will be shipped directly to the buyer.
We deeply appreciate any assistance you can provide, whether it’s through participation or spreading the word. Together, we can make our fundraising efforts a slam dunk success!
Please create your own Pop-Up Store and sell Double Good popcorn! Prices for Signature Bags (5 cups each) start at $11 and Curated Collections at $31. The popcorn is ultra-premium, delicious, and award-winning!
Our fundraising window for the Double Good virtual fundraiser kicks off on March 05, 2024, at 5:00 PM and closes promptly on March 09, 2024, at 5:00 PM. CYO Updates
On Saturday March 2nd, St. Mary entered the Tim Trybus Tournament with expectations of doing their best, with the odds stacked against us and any hopes of advancing to the final rounds of the tournament St. Mary had to win 3 consecutive games. St. Mary stepped up to the challenge, winning 3 straight games against:
1. St Mary vs. Blessed Sacrament (41 - 21)
2. St, Mary vs. St. Bart's (51-18)
3. St. Mary vs. Our Lady of Lourdes (29 - 26)
On Sunday March 3rd, After earning the #1 seed St. Mary needed 2 wins to become tournament champions. First opponent was St. Jane de Chantal. They put St. Mary to the test, constant back and forth lead changes had the crowd on the edge of their seats but the relentless defensive pressure was the factor to the 37 - 34 victory over St. Jane de Chantal.
St. Mary headed into the CHAMPIONSHIP game against St. Elizabeth with high confidence but ended up in another tough game. St. Mary, although giving their best effort, ended up trailing St. Elizabeth by 8 points at the half. After an energizing pep talk by Coach Edwards, St. Mary led by their defensive full court press was able to take over the 2nd half, regain the lead and will themselves to another victory! Learning to battle through adversity and depend on each other when times are tough is how St. Mary was able to win the games this season and it continued throughout the tournament. St. Mary pushed through and came out victorious beating St. Elizabeth 42 - 34.
Please join me in giving the 12U boys a round of applause for winning
the 2024 Tim Trybus Memorial Basketball Tournament.
