Dear Parents/Guardians and Students:
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year! I hope that you had an enjoyable Maine summer! The BPS staff is eagerly awaiting the start of the school year and getting to know each of your children. Before school starts, I would like to share some important information with you.
Morning Drop Off:
Buses will come through the bus loop (lane closest to the school) at 7:40am. At that same time, cars may utilize the designated drop-off lane for student arrival. Staff members will be available to assist in getting students exiting vehicles. There is no parking during morning drop off, and parents are asked to stay in their car. We ask that you pull up and students are ready to exit the car. Students should be in class by 7:55am every day; otherwise, they are considered tardy and must report to the office in the front of the building.
Afternoon Dismissal: Dismissal will start at 2:10pm. Similar to drop-off, bus students will be released to the bus loop. Parent pick-up will take place at the front of the school. Parents will need to park in the drop-off lane or parking spaces. All students will be waiting outside with their classroom teacher, and parents will pick them up directly with the teacher. Please have identification until your child’s teacher knows you.
Open House:
August 30, 2022
4:30 - 6:30pm
First Day of School:
Grades 1 and 2 will return to school on August 31, 2022. Upon arrival, students will go straight to their classroom. We will have staff available to help students who are not sure where to go.
Accessing Infinite Campus:
It is very important for parents to update information in Infinite Campus. If you have not yet set up your Infinite Campus Parent Portal or need to make any edits to your information, please do so by clicking on the links below.
