Student Council
What is the Student Council? Student Council is a group of student representatives who come together to make the school better and more fun for the rest of the student body. They plan dances, pep assemblies, fundraisers, and other events that help make the school and community better.
The teacher in charge of the Student Council is Mr. Cherry; he has been the advisor for 2 ½ years. Mr. Cherry’s hopes for the future of the club are that the Student Council continues to grow and help the community and its fellow students.
The Student Council’s next project is planning the Homecoming dances, parades, and pep assemblies for the next school year. They will also be planning some fundraising events for the end of the year and over the summer. The message the Student Council is sending is that it is open to all high school students, and they encourage students to join and help plan for the future of our school.
