DACC Programs for High School Students
February 2025
Good morning! We're winding down February, and we have some exciting news to share: Our program list for this year's DACC Summer Camp is now public!
We're thrilled to be able to offer 11 camps this year. They span our building -- offering opportunities for local middle school students with all kinds of interests and passions.
You can find our full camp list below, as well as general information on this year's DACC Summer Camp.
As a reminder, registration for these camps will open Tuesday, March 4th at 6 a.m. (that's this coming Tuesday!). These camps traditionally fill up fast, so make sure to have this link bookmarked (this is our Summer Camp landing page; when registration goes live, you will see separate registration links next to each camp title), and mark this date and time down on your calendar!
Summer Camp is a great opportunity for our local middle school students to learn new skills, make new friends and begin to experience the magic of career-technical education in their own community. It's something our instructors and staff look forward to every year, and this year is no exception -- we can't wait to welcome new and returning families into our building that first week of June!
We'd love to have you join us for this year's camp. Please let us know if you have any questions between now and Tuesday -- our team is here to help -- and we will hope to see you at DACC soon!

We will start out by finding out all of the products that most of us use every day that are made with soybeans or their byproducts. Then we will make different products related to food such as ice cream, candy bars, and sauces, to industrial products like fuels, lubricants, crayons, candles, and plastics. It will make you realize that soybeans are a big part of our everyday lives. Rising 7th, 8th and 9th graders, we would be “SOY” happy to have you join us. This camp will be taught by DACC’s Biotechnology instructor.
