Recess "Glow Up"

To increase engagement in purposeful play opportunities outside, new toys/activities have been introduced, dance parties (as pictured here) with the Principal have begun, and a highly anticipated "water recess" will be planned for spring. Reimaging what is possible for our students outside of our classrooms has leveled up chances to build relationships.

One Word Unites Prairieview

This year's theme, One Word, encourages goal-setting and reflection in a fun and unique way. Students and staff wrote their one word on a rock to keep it close and top of mind for the school year.

Tuesday Throwdowns

Each Tuesday, Spartan Hour groups will engage in games and other challenges to build community. Upon completion of each Throwdown activity, students will reflect upon challenges encountered and apply the lessons learned to their own lives.
