PRINCIPAL UPDATE
I would like to apologize for all who have had students miss their bus this week due to the change of pick-up times. This decision to change the start times for the bus routes happened because the buses were arriving at Northeast too early. This was a decision made by WPS Transportation and the bus company was made aware of the decision. I am not sure why buses continue to arrive at bus stops earlier than they should. Please know that we have communicated this concern to WPS Transportation and to the bus company and we sincerely hope this is corrected ASAP. Thank you for your patience as we try to ensure that the school bus experience is a safe and positive one for all students.
REMINDER: Northeast bus routes have adjusted start times in the morning which started on MONDAY, February 27th. This adjusted start time will ensure that the school buses are not arriving at Northeast too early. Please see below for the new start times - and when you should be waiting at the bus stop with your child(ren).

All students in Grades K-2 MUST have an adult at the bus stop in the morning and in the afternoon. If there is no adult present in the afternoon, students will be returned to the school and a parent or guardian will have to pick them up.

*Immeadiate need for PTO Treasurer*
Our Treasurer, Jean Petrino, is resigning from the PTO Board due to personal reasons effective March 1, 2023.
We thank Jean for all of her years of service on the PTO -- we are all a group of volunteer parents, and we cannot do this without our PTO Community support!
We don't expect anyone to "know what to do" -- Jean has graciously offered to help transition this new Board member into this role and be a resource of her knowledge.
If you are interested in learning more (no commitment to have a convo!) -- please reach out to us via Facebook, email (northeastptoboard@gmail.com or treasurer.nepto@gmail.com) or grab one of us at pickup. We'd love to help provide more info!
