General Information
The school year has started, and I have pulled almost all my students to see what they would like to do this year as a TAG project. I missed some due to absences. Here is the list of offerings again. (TAG Offerings-2022)
Over the next two weeks, I will pull students to write a TAG Goal for the year. We will check in on this goal in December/January and again in May. Students will start Character Building and Life Skills Lessons next month.
Check out the resource page. I will add the syllabus/description for each TAG's offerings and different competitions students can enter throughout the year. There will also be general information about East/West Middle School TAG.
KYA is happening this year. We will be attending Middle School 1 from November 6th-8th. We start afterschool practices next week. West - Wednesday 3:30-5:30 and East- Thursday 3:30-5:30. The cost is $260 per student, and we will have fundraisers to help offset the cost. Three ideas for the fall fundraisers include a community yard sale, a fall festival, and a pumpkin run. If you are interested in helping with fundraisers, please let me know.
Tips for Parents
Why it is important to support cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and psychological needs in gifted children.
Please let me know what resources you might want to work with your child. I will try to add those topics to the monthly newsletter.
