Welcome to November at VTHS!

We hope this message finds you well and filled with pride, as I am thrilled to share what an exceptional month we've had at Vernon Township High School. It is with great pleasure that I reflect on the achievements and progress we've made as a school community.

Our students have been truly exceptional in their commitment to their education. The hard work and enthusiasm are evident on a daily basis and I commend them for their efforts. Our dedicated and passionate teachers deserve special recognition for their outstanding work. They have been instrumental in fostering a positive learning environment and inspiring our students.

Beyond academics, our students have also shown tremendous growth in their character and involvement in extracurricular activities. We've seen remarkable teamwork and sportsmanship on the playing fields, incredible artistic talents on display in the arts, and amazing musical performances. It is truly heartwarming to see our students engage in a well-rounded education that extends beyond the classroom. Our athletic teams have broken school records and so has our VTHS Marching Band. We are truly proud of each and every one of our Vikings.

As we celebrate the success of this past month, we must also express our gratitude to the parents and guardians who play a vital role in supporting our students and our school. Your involvement, encouragement, and partnership are essential to the progress we've witnessed. Thank you for your unwavering support.

Congratulations to our Vikings that were recognized at the beginning of October for their hard work and acts of kindness during the month of September.

What an amazing and record-breaking season our fall athletes had this year! We are beyond proud of our students and coaches for all of their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship.

From Twin Day to Camo Day, Barbie vs Ken, and Country vs. Country Club... VTHS went all out on school spirit this year!

Congratulations to Mrs. Murolo and the cast and crew of our Fall Play The Heiress. What an amazing group of talented individuals. If you didn't make it to the show, you definitely missed out!

Congratulations to our Viking Marching Band students for their outstanding performance at the 2023 NJ STATES Competition ton October 28th! The band earned 1st place out of 8 bands in Group IIIA awarding them the title of US bands, New Jersey State Champions. This is the first time the marching band has placed 1st at a NJ State Championship Competition. In addition, the band received awards for Best Music, Best Visual and Best Overall Effect. Congratulations!!!

Our Unified Club hosted their 2nd Annual Halloween Costume Contest!
