Message From The Principal
Hornet Families,
Tomorrow, Monday, October 23rd marks the end of the 1st grading period as the 2nd grading period begins on Tuesday, October 24th. Report Cards will be sent home on Monday, October 30th.
This upcoming week is recognized as Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon week is a national campaign to educate students and families about drug and bully prevention. The theme for this year is "Be Kind to Your Mind! Live Drug Free!". Show your support by participating in our spirit days. Monday - Put a cap on drugs by wearing your favorite hat, Tuesday - Team up against drugs and wear your favorite team apparel, Wednesday - Show that it is wacky to do drugs, by wearing your tackiest outfit, Thursday - Fight the battle against drugs by wearing your grade-level's colors, and Friday - Dream of being drug free by wearing school appropriate pajamas.
Please mark your calendars for Friday, Nov. 3rd as we will have our annual Fall Festival from 5:00-8:00. There will be Food trucks, games, a cake walk, student King and Queen competition and more! We are requesting donation items such as can soda and candy to help support the festival! You can drop these items off by the front office.
Please read through the information in the newsletter below and let me know if you have any questions!
Thank you for your support,
Dr. Allen M. Wilson
Principal
