- Attention 8th grade parents: Mendham High School scheduling packets were sent home with your child this afternoon. The packet contains the following: teacher recommendations, course list, and cover letter indicating the date/time of your scheduling conference. As always, please contact Mrs. Mott or Mrs. Lanka should you have any questions.
- In Advisory today, students completed a survey designed to help them measure which of the 24 character strengths identified by scientists are their strongest (i.e., bravery, creativity, gratitude, honesty, humor, etc.) Go to https://www.viacharacter.org/character-strengths-via to take your own online survey (both youth and adult versions are available) so you can talk with your child about your strengths as a family.
In an effort to help students understand how capitalizing on these strengths can help them lead a happier and more fulfilling life, students made a "valentine for a veteran" to help them show "gratitude" to those who have served our country.
- On Monday, February 10, three U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Gold Medalists - Kip St. Germaine (now US Development Team Head Coach), Jack Wells, and Declan Farmer (2019 ESPY Best Male Athlete with a Disability) will visit Mountain View. As always, special thanks to the HSA Cultural Arts committee for providing educational and entertaining programs for our students.
- A reminder that the Lions' Den is available to students after school from 3:15 - 4:15 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There is no pre-registration required; students can sign up in home base the day of.
