Staff Spotlight!
Today we are giving a huge shoutout to our amazing music teacher, Mr. Curtis! The students and staff cannot say enough great things about Mr. Curtis. We are so lucky to have him here at Kolmar! He is always meeting the students with kindness and a smile at the door when it is time for music, whether he is in his own classroom or doing music from a cart! Our students are learning about music notes and sounds, songs and singing, rhythm, movement, and instruments. Mr. Curtis also deserves a huge thank you for all his hard work with our school chorus. The chorus is doing such great things and Mr. Curtis is the reason why!
Dismissal Arrangements
Please be sure to contact the school office at 708-422-1800 when you need to change your child's dismissal arrangements. Parents should not text students directly without informing the office. Contacting the office will help ensure that everyone gets home safely.

Ramadan Holiday
The Ramadan Holiday will begin on March 23. Please contact the school office at 708-422-1800 if your child will be fasting for the holiday. We will make accommodations for their lunch period.

5Essentials School Survey Now Open!
Once again Oak Lawn-Hometown School District 123 will participate in the 11th annual statewide survey of school climate and learning conditions conducted by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). This survey provides a platform for students, teachers, and parents to express their opinions on ways to improve their community's schools. Please take a moment to ensure your voice is part of the process by participating in the survey. The 5Essentials survey helps school administrators in District 123 prioritize and plan for the upcoming school year. Our school will only receive the results of the survey if enough families, staff, and students participate.
