Dear Vikings,

Thank you for your care and support this year. It was a wild ride at times but was so much better because we went through this with our Viking family. Our students have been wonderful throughout this year and we cannot thank them enough for their positivity and resilience.

If you are considering summer school in August please make sure to register with the link in our newsletter. This program is geared towards all students and is a nice way to get them back into the groove of school prior to their first day.

Thank you for the wonderful job of delivering our announcements everyday! We are going to miss you next year! Our announcers for the 2020-2021 school year were Alexi W., Olivia G., Kelly K., and not pictured, Mariah G.

Anyway's

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Anyway's dine out. Dine outs were one of our few ways to fundraise this year and we appreciate the support of all of our district families and staff!

Dairy Queen

This Thursday June 3rd, will be our final dine out of the school year at Dairy Queen! Enjoy a treat at two locations, Villa Park on St. Charles or Lombard on Roosevelt. 20% of money brought in will be donated to District 48. A great way to kick off summer is with a blizzard or sundae!

EPI School Kits

We apologize for the delay on school kit orders. We should have the website ready very soon. All ordering will be done online as it was last year and pick up will be in August.

FTC would like to thank all of our district families for the continued support this year. Whether you purchased from one of our fundraisers, ate at one of our dine outs, or purchased one or several of Holly Sloan's custom masks, thank you. This was a crazy year, but we were still able to fund several teacher requests, provide for Teacher Appreciation Week, and aid in funding the new climbing wall at Swartz!! We hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing summer and we look forward to seeing you in person in the fall!!!

District 48's Summer U is open for registration. Please see the flyer below for more information. In addition, Oakbrook Terrace Park District will be providing an extended day for families who need it. The flyer is also below!

Registration for the 2021-2022 school year is under way! Packets have been mailed to all district families with directions on how to register through Skyward for next year.

• Early bird fee of $25 off (each child) ends June 10th
• Items can be returned by mail, blue drop box, or by appointment only.
• Payments can be made on epay (saltcreek48.org), check or cash (exact only no change)

Preschool registration is open! If you have a child that is eligible for preschool, aged 3-5, please contact the office to set up a preschool screening and to start the registration progress.

I just wanted to say Thank You to all the parents and students for making this year great in spite of the hectic year we had. You were gracious and patient when we had a million changes throughout the year.
