Principal's Message
Hello Families,
We have seen an increase in general illness at Meadow View this past week. While we know that illnesses are common at this time of year, I'd like to remind everyone of our illness guidelines to keep our students, staff, and schools as healthy as possible. Our school will continue to be cleaned and sanitized daily and nightly, with high-touch surfaces receiving additional cleaning throughout the day. Staff will continue to encourage good hand hygiene routines throughout the day. Students who are feeling unwell will be taken to the health room for evaluation and parents will be contacted when a child needs to be sent home.
A couple of winter reminders as well. First, boys and girls will need snow pants and boots for snow play when there is snow on the ground. Please label your child's clothing so we can return it in case it gets lost. Next, we will have inside recess when the wind chill is below zero. And finally, in the event of a school closing due to weather, you will receive an early morning automated phone call. You can also check the district website and local news outlets for school closure information.
Paws Up,
Mr. Schreiber

Art from the Heart
Dear Meadow View Families,
Thank you so much for supporting our Art From the Heart fundraiser! Because of your support our fundraiser was a great success! THANK YOU!
Orders were put into production the week of November 27th. The orders are set to be shipped on December 13th and should arrive at Meadow View by the end of that week. Orders will be given to your child’s teacher by Wednesday, December 20th. So, please be on the lookout for your ordered items (in your child’s backpack) at this time. If you chose to have the items shipped to your home, it should follow the same timeline.
Thank you again for supporting Art From the Heart!
We wish you a wonderful holiday season!

4th Grade Families - Complete This Survey About 5th Grade!
You’ll soon start receiving information about 5th grade and course selection at Nature Hill Intermediate. Before course selection begins, we’d like you to complete a short questionnaire about your child’s transition to 5th grade. Your feedback will help us begin the planning process for the 2024-25 school year registration.

Wisconsin Winter Weather Has Arrived!
The snow and cold is upon us! Recess is an important part of the day so here are a few cold weather reminders:
- If the temperature or wind chill is below zero, students will remain inside for recess.
- Please make sure your child(ren) have snow pants, boots, gloves and a hat every day. Please don't assume we will be indoors on snowy, cold days. If a student does not have snow pants or boots, they will remain on the blacktop during recess. Also, make sure all snow clothes are labeled with your child's name.
Clothes Needed in our Health Room
Our Health Room is looing for gently used clothing donations. They are in need of boys elastic waist/sweat pants and shirts (sizes 5-10). Thank you!
