On Thursday, April 14 all students and staff are invited to wear their Grewenow gear or blue and yellow so we can send off the spring break in style and with spirit!

The following students will be recognized as KUSD Art representatives for the 50th Annual District-Wide Student Art Exhibit. It will run from March 18th through April 24th at the Kenosha Public Museum.

KUSD is accepting applications for e-school for the 2022-2023 school year. This will be the only K-5 option for virtual learning for the 2022-2023 school year. Please watch this video to learn more about the e-school learning program.

Grades K-3 received a pink April Reading Tracker this week. Students may choose to participate in tracking their reading during the month of April. When students log and complete 400 minutes, they will receive a FREE bundtlet from Nothing Bundt Cakes. Bring the completed reading tracker to the bakery to receive this delicious treat.

ALL students who participated in the Lil Fish Reading Program will receive their tickets in May.

Throughout the month of March our students voted their way through a tournament style bracket battle of teachers' favorite books. The March Madness Champion was Dragons Love Tacos by Adam Rubin.

As part of the WI DPI Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Program, every Wednesday and Thursday students have the opportunity to try different types of produce. Although we call it "snack" at school, it is only designed to be an introduction to these foods. Some are familiar, others are new, and students are always encouraged to participate in the smell, touch, and tasting of the individually packaged foods. Check out this month's menu below!

Grewenow Family & Teacher Community, our school's PTO meets the first Wednesday of each month. They support the educational experiences at Grewenow through both financial support and hosting fun events to bring the school community together.
