Work Permit Information
The Commonwealth of Virginia has recently made changes to the Worker’s Permit requirements. They are no longer being issued through the schools. Documents required to process a child labor permit can be found on the Department of Labor and Industry website at https://vaeecs.doli.virginia.gov/vaeecs/. Children and their parents may access the proper forms directly from the website. Detailed instructions are on the website as well. The school system will no longer have an active role in the Child Labor Permit Process.
