The MLK, Jr. Breakfast Keynote will be Murray State Alumna Rev. Donna Hawkins, ’77, ’79, Pastor of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Paducah, Kentucky. Pastor Hawkins was also a former Ashland College of Education Endowed Professorship-Distinguished Practitioner Recipient.

MLK, Jr. Day of Service

This year during the MLK, Jr. Day of Service we are conducting a campus/community-wide “Bring Back” initiative. We are asking that you consider bringing items that will assist various agencies in providing services throughout the year.

Because many of the agencies supplies get depleted during the holiday season, your support is needed. Please bring any of the items listed below in the "2018 Bring Back Initiative List" to the MLK, Jr. Day of Service collection point in the Curris Center Banquet Room 1 between 9:00am - 11:15am on Saturday, February 3, 2018. After the MLK, Jr. Breakfast and Keynote, help will be needed to sort all of the donations for each agency and deliver them. All are welcome to stay and help.
