ANNOUNCEMENT: Early Dismissal Friday, Nov. 17
Due to exceptionally high interest in the NBAHS Vikings football state tournament game Friday, Nov. 17, and the challenge of providing fan/family bus transportation to the event while also busing students home at the regular afternoon time, North Branch Area Public Schools is announcing early school dismissal this Friday, Nov. 17.
Bused students will depart NBAPS for home at 1:15 p.m. on Friday, roughly 90 minutes earlier than is typical. Parents/guardians should expect their students to arrive at home approximately 90 minutes earlier than a typical day.
For parents picking up young children, student dismissal times are below:
Sunrise: 1 pm
Middle School/Ed Center: 1:15 pm

Fan and family buses to U.S. Bank Stadium
Students/families seeking transportation to U.S. Bank Stadium this Friday have two options:
Student Fan Bus: Students in grades 7-12 can sign up to ride a fan bus to the game on Friday. No families are permitted on this bus. Families wanting to ride with their grade 7-12 students will need to travel on the family fan bus together. Registration and payment are online only. $6/student to ride the student fan bus (ticket for the game must be purchased separately). The fan bus will leave from the HS parking lot at 2:40p.m.

Family Fan Bus: Any family currently enrolled at NBAPS can ride the family fan bus. Students must accompany the family on the bus in order for all to ride. Registration and payment are online only. $6/person to ride the family fan bus (ticket for the game must be purchased separately). The fan bus will leave from the HS parking lot at 2:40 p.m.

Registration for either the student fan or family fan bus must be received by 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16 to be included.
The middle school and high school will send further information to families of students planning to ride the fan bus to the game.

Football game ticket information
Tickets for Friday afternoon’s game can be purchased from the Minnesota State High School League through Ticketmaster here: www.ticketmaster.com/event/06005F4D1AB69E2B
Tickets can also be purchased onsite. The MSHSL does not offer cash sales. Prices are $10/students and $16/adults.
Child care information
Youth Connections will remain available for students who have already registered and paid for care on Friday after school, no additional fee will be charged for care from 1-3 p.m. Youth Connections will remain open until 6 p.m. as usual. Questions can be directed to 651-674-1014.

Care for Grades 1-5 will be provided at Sunrise River Elementary School until 3 p.m. For kindergarten students, this care will be provided at the North Branch Area Education Center until 3 p.m. Parents must pick up their child by 3 p.m. at their child’s school.
Questions regarding short notice child care should be directed to your building principal.
Special preschool considerations
- Afternoon preschool is canceled for Friday, Nov. 17.
- Morning preschool will continue as usual.
- Full day preschool will be offered until 1:10 p.m. Students can either be picked up at this time or be transported home as usual.
