What is Red Ribbon Week?๐๏ธ
Red Ribbon Week highlights the importance of living a drug-free life. It presents an opportunity for parents, educators, and communities to reinforce the drug-free messages they share with their children throughout the year.
ATTENDANCE MATTERS!
If your student will not be present at school, please call our attendance line: 708-753-4700 Ext. 1
SEL Second Step Program
Dear Parents,
In this weekโs Second Step lesson, your child will learn how to reflect on their experience working toward a goal, how to identify and set achievable goals by making them specific and be able to identify and distinguish between internal and external obstacles (or โroadblocksโ) that can get in their way when working toward goals.
Consider trying this at home. Talk with your child about their goal-setting journey, what worked, what did not, and what they could do differently next time. Tell your child about a goal that you set and worked toward. What worked, what didnโt work, and what did you learn?
