The Appleton Echo
Autumn Term 2, Week 1
A Word from Mr Broom
It's been a very busy first week back. I hope you all had a wonderful half term.
This week, we've completed parent consultations, the fire brigade visited to put out the Fire of London, the staff met with myself to set performance management targets and today, we marked Remembrance Day with a wonderful service with the church. Thank you to Janet and Revered Lucy. I have to say the behaviour of our children was impeccable and worthy of such a service.
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
Super Parent Consultations
A huge thank you to everyone who came to parent consultations this week. It was wonderful to share the progress our children are making in school. We look forward to welcoming everyone for our Open Classrooms in the week before Christmas.

OfSTED Parent View
We start the new academic year expecting an Ofsted Inspection at some point in the year. We are certainly well overdue!
You can really help us by completing the Ofsted Parent View online survey. It's a short series of questions that should take you no longer than 10 minutes. Of course, when we do get the call, you'll get another opportunity to share your views.
Click here to access the online survey on the government website.

We are a 'Nut Free' School
A polite reminder that we have children in school who have severe nut allergies. Please ensure that you do not bring nuts on to the school site or include them in packed lunches.
Thank you for your support with this.
Staff Shout Outs
I've had a few messages from parents/carers asking about how they can send a staff shoutout for a staff team. It's great that you think about them and really does help to raise morale.
