A special thank you to all the families that took time to take our TCE Looping Survey. I am in the middle of analyzing all of the data that we collected, and I look forward to sharing the results with all families once this process has been completed. I will send out information via email within the next few weeks.

THE SPRING BOOK FAIR IS NEXT WEEK - March 4th-8th

Monday - Thursday: 7:20am-3:20pm

Thursday (Open House): 5:30-7:00pm

Friday (CLOSING EARLY): 7:20am-2:00pm

This is a great opportunity to stock up on new books for Spring Break and summer reading! The Book Fair will accept cash, all major credit cards (with parent/guardian present) and checks (payable to TCE). Please remember that all sales are final. You are welcome to shop with your child during their lunch, recess, before/after school, or Open House night. If you will not be shopping the book fair with your child, please, make sure that your child clearly understands any purchasing expectations you have such as only books, no comic/activity books, only one trinket item, etc.

If you want to get a head start on Book Fair purchases, don't have time to stop by the Book Fair, or we run out of a title that you wanted, then please shop online February 27th - March 17th. Purchases made online will be delivered to your child at school approximately two weeks after the Book Fair ends, and profits will go towards our school library.

Let's build strong classroom libraries!

Please consider helping our teachers fill their classroom libraries with new and needed titles by purchasing and donating a book from their wish bins at the Book Fair. You will find the wish bins along the cashier/check-out line.

We still need Book Fair volunteers!

We are still in need of more parent volunteers to run cash registers, tidy/restock shelves, and help customers find things. We appreciate community support to continue this exciting tradition and learning experience for our students! *Volunteers must have an approved Coppell ISD background check on file before you will be permitted to help with Book Fair. A new background check is required each school year. This Friday is our TCE Kids Heart Challenge Day. All donations are due by this date, and students will have a chance to show off their new jump roping skills during part of Friday's Move and Groove Time. We welcome families to come and watch in the gym. Please see below for your child's homeroom class jump time. If your child is in an "E" section, check with them to see what class they attend Move and Groove with on the schedule.

Town Center's Destination Imagination team won first place in the regional tournament held on February 23rd and will advance to the state competition on March 23rd in Corpus Christi, Texas. We are proud of this group and wish them the best of luck at their next competition.

Please make note of the important dates below for current 5th graders/rising 6th graders. A parent meeting is being provided by all middle schools to share information about middle school registration and to answer any questions you may have.

For students attending Coppell Middle School North:

Rising 6th Grade Parent Registration Meeting will be on Monday, March 25, at 6pm at Coppell Middle School North.

For students attending Coppell Middle School East (Residents of Townlake Apartments):

Rising 6th Grade Parent Registration Meeting will be on Monday, March 25, at 6pm at Coppell Middle School East.

Middle School counselors will visit our school during the week of March 25-29th to speak to 5th grade students.

*Online registration for all middle schools will open on April 3rd and close on April 10th.

We'd love your help in adding additional photos to the yearbook! If you have photos from any of this year's school events, please see below for directions.

1. Search for Balfour Image Share in your app marketplace.

2. Download the app, create your account.

3. Enter your name, email, and project number 928045

4. Check your email for a confirmation code. Enter it, select username and password to complete your registration.

5. Start uploading pictures - make sure to include the child's name/grade & teacher/event or caption after each upload.

Deadline to upload Pictures for the yearbook is March 1!

We are excited to have our 2nd Annual Cultural Night at TCE. Last year was such a great success with all the dishes you shared with our TCE community. If you would like to share an appetizer, main dish, or dessert on March 28th, please sign up below. We will contact you with more specific details as the event grows near. TCE will provide sample cups to share the dish you bring. This event was successful because of all of our families' contributions. Thank you for making our school so great!
