TRiO Student Support Services (2-YR)
Program Overview:
The purpose of our TRIO SSS Program is to provide services in support of our participants completing their associate degree program or certification program.
We also provide support for participants that have personal goals or challenges.
Our program is new to Broward College, but we are very much like the traditional office of student advisement but with a smaller, more intimate approach. Instead of an advisor, participants will be connected with a Success Coach who will serve as a supplemental advisor to your academic advisor within the college.
Each term will encompass the following
- Two Coaching Sessions for Course Selection & Future 4-Years Degree Planning
- Several Professional and Personal Developmental Workshops
- Cultural Activities
- Academic Tutoring
