What's Happening at RMS?
Beginning the 2023-2024 school year, RSD has implemented Smart Start Mondays in which all RSD schools will begin one hour later to provide instructional staff time to plan and collaborate on instructional practices for remediation or acceleration based on student needs.

Rock, Paper Scissors
Congratulations to Emerson Brown and Daniel Romero, the RMS 6th Grade Girls and Boys Rock Paper Scissors Champions! The Assistant Principals turned inside recess into something entertaining for our students.
Studying in Science
6th grade Science is beginning their unit on thermal energy. They kicked off the unit with an investigation that measures the change in temperature using two different types of lighting, a fancy cup, a regular cup, ice, and water.

The first 9 weeks has just started! Please make sure you are staying up to date with student grades and school announcements by sign up for the RSD app below!
- The Lost and Found box is emptied at the end of each month. Please have your child check in the Library to see if something belongs to them.
- Log into the Home Access Center.
- On the right side, select My Alerts.
- Click the box for attendance to receive an email notification when your child is absent or tardy to class. The primary guardian email will be used.
- Once the box is selected for email or mobile push, a blue link will appear. You can click on the link to select, the absent types you would like to be notified for.
