iReady Winter Diagnostic Assessments
Students will take the iReady diagnostic over the next three weeks. The assessment adapts its questions to suit each child's needs based on their previous answers. This helps teachers provide better academic support and increase learning gains.
To help your child succeed in their assessment, it's important to encourage them to give their best effort so that the results accurately reflect their abilities. Your child's performance in these assessments will play a crucial role in their academic progress. Therefore, it's important that they get enough sleep and eat a healthy breakfast before school or at school at 8:00 am. Let's work together to assist your child in achieving their full potential.
Our school's data team has provided an encouragement card in your child's green communication folder before vacation. Please take a few minutes to write down an encouraging message and send the card back to school on Monday. Your child will be delighted to read your inspiring words and it will motivate them to do their best in their upcoming assessments. If you don't have the encouragement card, don't worry, you can simply write a few lines on a piece of paper and send it back in the green folder.

Missing School: It Adds Up!
When your child attends school regularly and on time, they have the opportunity to excel academically and to establish a positive daily routine for learning.
Regular attendance allows for students to be involved in lessons, develop relationships with their peers, and make the most out of their education. It also gives the teacher the opportunity to assess each student and effectively plan ahead.
Excessive absences can lead to students missing out on important information or falling behind in their learning. Regular school attendance is an important indicator of your child's performance and success as they grow. Simply put, absences add up.
