- October 20 - Staff PD day, NO SCHOOL for students
- October 30-November 3 - Student Council Halloween Sprirt Week
- October 31 - Halloween Dress-Up Day (School Appropriate costumes, no masks or face paint)
- November 22-26 - Thanksgiving Break
- December 22-January 2 - Christmas Break
- 1st Semester Final Exams - January 10-12
- January 12 - End of the 1st Semester

2023 Student Count Day
- Wednesday, October 4th is the Fall student count day. Please make every effort to be present. Let's make every student count!
- Students enrolled in one or more online courses MUST complete and submit at least ONE assignment in EACH of their ONLINE classes on Student Count Day, Wednesday, October 4th. Students may be denied the opportunity to take online courses in the future, if they fail to comply. Please contact Mrs. Horning at mhorning@lindenschools.org, if you have any questions.
AP Exam Registration
We are now registering for AP exams. The cost to register is $100 per exam. The cost to students who qualify for free/reduced lunch is $15 per exam. We are asking that all fees are paid electronically using the E-funds system. Students must pay for their AP exam(s) before we will register them. The deadline for payment is Wednesday, October 11.
2023 Credit Recovery Registration
Linden High School would like to provide your our students with an opportunity to make up credit(s) for failed courses. Our after school credit recovery program provies that opportunity. Your student may sign up for credit recovery sessions during the first and/or second semester. Please use the link included for additional information, and to sign up.
Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences
On Tuesday, October 17th LHS staff will be available in the gymnasium and cafeteria from 3:00 pm-7:00 pm for parents and students to conference with teachers regarding student progress. We encourage you to take advantage of this opporortunity.
LHS Bond Construction Update
LHS continues to be a beehive of activity since school began. Our courtyard, media center, SE hallway, and STEM lab are all under construction. A few photos of the progress are included below.
Final Exam Exemptions
- LHS encourages students that earn the exam exemption to take their final exams.
- Missing work is considered, and entered as zeros in terms of course grade(s).
- Students should complete and submit any missing work within 1 week of its' original due date.
