Dean's Message

As we prepare to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, let me take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for your contributions to Villanova. I am deeply thankful for the vibrant intellectual engagement of our graduate students in the Villanova community.


I hope your coursework and research endeavors this semester have been challenging, insightful, and productive. With final exams, papers, and projects on the horizon, remember that the University has many programs and services to support your success. I encourage you to review the academic resources we highlight in this issue.


On behalf of the entire Office of Graduate Studies, I wish you and your loved ones a very happy, healthy, and restful Thanksgiving. May it inspire and energize you for the last few weeks of the fall semester.

Summer Research Fellowships

Graduate students in CLAS are encouraged to apply for a summer fellowship to support their research. For details regarding eligibility requirements, criteria, how to apply, deadline for proposals and review process, faculty evaluation of the project, and award recipients, please visit the Graduate Summer Research Fellowship page. Read about last year's recipients.


Graduating this Spring?

If you plan to graduate in May 2018, you must apply by January 31, 2018. Please visit the Commencement Information page to review the graduation application requirements and procedures.
