Week 10- We made it to the end of the First Nine Weeks!
Lion Cub families, we have made it to the end of the First Nine Weeks. Our students have been working so hard and learning so much. We are so proud of their accomplishments for the first nine weeks! Let's keep growing our students!
Below are some updates for this week:
- Families may begin coming to eat lunch with your students. Please reach out to your child's teacher to let them know you are coming so they can plan for seating. Remember: NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK MAY BE BROUGHT IN. Upon arrival, please sign in at the front office and get a visitor's tag.

- 11/9- K-2 Fall Ball Dance 3:00pm-5:00pm (more info to come)
- 11/10- 3-4 Fall Ball Dance 3:00pm- 5:00pm (more info to come)
- 11/11- Veteran's Day- NO SCHOOL
- 11/14- Skate Night at Roll-A-Bout Skating Center in Burlington 6:00-8:00pm
- 11/14-11/18- Book Fair
- 11/23-11/25- Thanksgiving Break- NO SCHOOL

Volunteer Opportunities
Are you interested in volunteering? We are currently looking for volunteers to help with our duty-free lunch. To volunteer, please complete the background check linked here and then sign-up to volunteer in the sign-up genius linked here.
All volunteers must have a background check on file before they are able to volunteer.
Habit 3: Put First Things First
One of the principles of this habit is to say no to things we know we should not do. For example, if your child is invited to play with a friend and they have not completed their homework, they should be reminded that to put first things first means to work first and then play. This teaches children how to prioritize and delay gratification, a skill that we need to have as an adult.
Talk with your child about how they can put first things first at home and at school.
